Intellectual forums
The Strategic Thinking Group organizes a number of annual intellectual forums that bring together a group of thinkers, academicians, experts and researchers specialized in international issues, Middle East issues, and the Arab and Islamic world. The purpose of our forums is to discuss the future of the region and participate in developing perceptions and solutions to the current crises.
Workshops
The Strategic Thinking Group organizes a number of specialized workshops with the participation of a group of politicians, thinkers, researchers, academicians, and heads of think tanks to discuss some local and regional issues and some specialized issues.
Assessment papers
STGA organizes a number of discussion sessions and brainstorming to discuss many specialized intellectual issues, exposing many files to the current crises between many parties in the region. The main aim of the sessions is to come up with an appreciation of a position specialized in the most important global issues and issues of the Middle East, the Arab and Islamic world. STGA invites a group of researchers, academics and opinion makers to participate in this process from the Arab world and the Islamic world.
Building partnerships
Strategic Thinking Group Association seeks to build many partnerships with think tanks and distinguished research institutions related to the field of strategic thinking and planning such as the Center for Political, Social and Economic Studies (SETA) and the Center for Middle East Studies (Orsam).
Our group also seeks to build partnerships with many Arab and Turkish universities such as Ibn Khaldun University / Turkey, Sabahattin Zaim University / Turkey and Omdurman Islamic University / Sudan to enhance the group's role in the scientific and academic fields. By signing memoranda of understanding and various cooperation agreements.
Educational and academic programs
Strategic Thinking Group seeks to possess an academic educational program in the field of thinking, planning and strategic management for postgraduate studies, which aims to increase and develop awareness in the field of strategic thinking among the youth.
Postgraduate Program for Strategic Thinking and Planning (Diploma - Masters - PhD)
STGA worked on designing a program for postgraduate studies in the field of strategic management. STGA signed a number of joint cooperation agreements with Arab and Turkish universities to officially approve the program, and the group seeks to produce and own a specialized program for graduate studies in the field of thinking and strategic planning to build a generation of young Leaders who are capable of possessing strategic thinking, planning and management tools.
Scholarships
STGA provides a number of scholarships for young people to study in the field of thinking, planning and strategic management, due to the importance of the role of youth in the current stage and the importance of preparing youth leaders and a conscious generation commensurate with the current changes and developments.
Field Visit Program
The Strategic Thinking Group organizes a number of field visits to many official and civil institutions and Turkish civil society organizations. The purpose of the program is to learn about successful strategic experiences and transfer different experiences to the segment of Arab youth society in Turkey, so that they can benefit from the Turkish experience in many fields. Some of the visits include a visit to The Turkish Parliament in Ankara, as well as IHH and the Center for Political, Social and Economic Studies (SETA).
Youth Summer Camp Program (Qualifying strategic leaders)
Through this program, STGA aims to spread and increase awareness in the field of strategic thinking and planning among the youth and prepare a generation of strategic leaders. The group has established a number of youth summer camps, the last of which was in cooperation with Ibn Haldun University in Edirne / Turkey, from 22 - July 25, 2019, with the participation of approximately 120 young people from different Arab and Islamic countries. The camp had the participation of a number of lecturers from the political elite, thinkers, researchers, pioneers of strategic thinking and those with practical experiences in various strategic fields, as well as politicians and statesmen from the Arab and Islamic world.
Specialized Consulting Services Program
STGA is interested in supporting and providing various strategic consultations, position assessments, visions and perceptions for decision-makers in official and unofficial institutions, governmental and private sectors, and civil society institutions. STGA provide this service through a specialized committee that includes a number of experts, specialists and people with practical experiences in various fields.
Annual Strategic Report
In light of the dense developments and rapid changes in the region, it becomes urgent to read the features of the regional and international political environment with its various transformations and variables. STGA produces the annual strategic report on the most important changes in the region, and foresees the future development of the regional current situation, and stands at the main challenges that facing the region.
The inclusive civilizational intellectual project
STGA holds a number of international seminars by hosting a number of thinkers, owners of intellectual projects and owners of practical experiences, and in the presence of a number of thinkers and specialists to discuss the various visions, ideas and intellectual projects. The main aim of the project is to try to formulate an intellectual and cultural project that is inclusive for the region. STGA invites leading thinkers, politicians, researchers, academics, experts and owners of various intellectual projects in the region to participate in the project.
Training Courses
STGA seeks to provide state institutions with scientifically qualified strategic leaders, by organizing a number of specialized training courses in the field of strategic management and strategic thinking. Our courses are organized in cooperation with some Turkish and Arab Universities and institutions in the presence of a distinguished group of lecturers, trainers and academicians in various scientific fields.
Conferences
STGA organizes a number of international conferences in the presence of political and academic figures, researchers and heads of think tanks to discuss the most important issues in the Middle East and international issues. One of our conferences was the American Policy in the Middle East with the participation of a number of former and current Congress men and heads of intellectual institutions in the United States of America. The also has invited a group of thinkers, experts and intellectuals from various Arab countries and Turkey.
